RFK Report Expected to Link Tylenol to Autism

Updated:

(NewsNation) — Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s upcoming report on autism is expected to link the use of Tylenol during pregnancy and folate deficiencies as causes for autism.

The report being prepared is expected to include a review of previous autism research, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.

It is also expected to suggest that the use of a medication derived from folate could be used to treat autism.

Autism has been a focus for Kennedy, who has questioned the increase in diagnosis, with 1 in 31 aged 8 affected by the condition. He has vowed to find a cause for the condition that many researchers say is largely genetic.

Trump Calls on Pharmaceutical Companies to ‘Justify Success’ of COVID-19 Vaccines

Zachary Stieber, Senior Reporter - updated 09/02/25

President Donald Trump on Sept. 1 said that pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, should make public information that they’ve shared with him about their COVID-19 products.

“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs,” the president said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump said Pfizer and other companies have shown him information “that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public.”

The president then linked what he said was the lack of public information to the turmoil at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, whose director he recently fired. After the termination, several top officials resigned, in part because they opposed how the CDC, under orders from Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., earlier this year stopped recommending COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children and pregnant women.

Doctors Sue CDC Over Childhood Vax Schedule, Demanding Proof It Does More Good Than Harm

The doctors want the recommendations reclassified so they no longer operate as 'binding national mandates.'

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. indicated during a congressional hearing in June that kids "get 69 to 92 jabs" by the time they are 18 years old. Now, two doctors are working to change the burden of proof from on the patients who are subjected to them, to on the government agencies that effectively demand them.

Tony Lyons, president of MAHA Action, told Blaze News that the "vaccines have never been properly tested, either individually, in groupings, or as the full schedule, so no one can honestly say that they are not linked to the chronic disease epidemic."

Two doctors backed by the advocacy group Stand for Health Freedom have filed a lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention challenging the agency's recommended childhood immunization schedule.

Dr. Paul Thomas and Dr. Kenneth Stoller, both of whom had their medical licenses suspended and revoked in recent years for standing up against the vaccination regime, want to flip the burden of proof on the matter.

Warning From a Minneapolis Meeting

The New York Times reported:

When 12,000 public health professionals gathered in Minneapolis last week for the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association, Dr. Jerome Adams, who served as surgeon general in the first administration of President-elect Donald J. Trump, issued a pointed warning about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“If R.F.K. has a significant influence on the next administration, that could further erode people’s willingness to get up to date with recommended vaccines,” Dr. Adams said. “I am worried about the impact that could have on our nation’s health, on our nation’s economy, on our global security.”

Now, Mr. Kennedy, a vocal skeptic of vaccines, is in a position to have significant influence, and over a broad range of policy. Mr. Trump’s sweeping electoral victory, with Mr. Kennedy at his side, is — in the eyes of their supporters — not only a mandate but also a repudiation of the public health establishment that has long kept Mr. Kennedy at bay.
